Makizushi
Some Japanese friends invited me to their house for a Makizushi party yesterday. The Makizushi setup goes as follows:
Everyone has a small stack of square nori (seaweed) sheets and a bowl of sushi rice. An array of sushi fillings are spread out over he table for everyone to grab with their chopsticks as they like. You spread some rice on a nori sheet, invent a combo of fillings, and roll yourself a nice little sushi bouquet. Usually accompanied with copious amounts of cold oolong tea and beer. Good times.
